I can not believe 15 days passed so fast, I barely have enjoyed the view, the food, the people, even the weather of Berlin enough, and it's time to say good bye. This is truly a fascinating city with painful history, mixing cultures and breathtaking views. I love it and I am for sure coming back, as being a witness of the development of a city is by all means joyful. Goodbye Berlin!! See you soon!
Berlin 2013

I have never really thought about the public transportation system is so well developed in Berlin. I was quiet scared at first because I thought Berlin is like the United States, that if you do not have a car, you are stuck. Surprisingly, Berlin is one of those city really convenient to travel around, as the public transportation does not close till late (1:00 am?) and it opens so early. Stacy and I went to Paris in the early morning around 4:00 am, we took the tram, we came back like 12:00 am, we took the tram... It was madly crazy that knowing we still can save money without taking taxi. We loved it so much that we'd rather wait for 20 mins to take the tram to get back to the hotel. More importantly, unlike Paris, Berlin's transportation was really clean and easy to track, fairly new as well. I love the yellow tram, I will definitely miss M4, so many dark nights, it took me back home...

I like to see "work-day free" on the schedule, as that not only means I get to sleep later, but also, I have handful of time to explore this amazing city, from different angles, through lens and eyes, with full passion. It is so interesting to see how time and weather shape this city so differently. The same German Cathedral, looks absolutely different at noon and at dawn, in the rain and in the sunshine, from afar or within steps.
I love alexandraplatz. This is the place that most interesting things happen. Even just walk around, it is so much fun to observe people, they present the real Berlin life, as its lively, free, multiple, and most important, content.

The first time I learnt that we are going to have a bike tour on
the schedule I was FRIGHTENED because I have never really ridden a bike, as
strangely as it sounds. However, it was FUN, even the occasion shower and
chilling wind did not blunt any enthusiasm.
We stopped by Urban Spree – an old
rail way ruins turned into a paradise of graffiti and bars.
There was also an
exhibition of the etching work of Etienne Pottier.
